For many years, practitioners have relied on the CRT 2000 system for contact regulation thermography (CRT). Its next generation is now available: CRT LifeScan, a cloud-based, AI-assisted version of the platform developed by Life Scan Care Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia.
What CRT LifeScan does
CRT LifeScan is a functional, radiation-free thermography platform for whole-body and breast-health assessment. Instead of producing a structural image, it looks at regulation: how the body's skin temperature responds to a gentle cold stimulus. Skin temperature is measured at 119 standardized points before and after the stimulus. The platform then evaluates the regulation patterns associated with more than 20 organs, glands and tissues, including immune, metabolic and lymphatic regulation.
How a scan works
- Baseline reading: the 119 points are measured with a handheld infrared probe.
- Cold challenge: a brief, controlled cooling period of about 10 minutes.
- Second reading: the same 119 points are measured again.
- Cloud analysis: the readings are analyzed in the cloud, which means every practice always uses the latest version of the analysis engine.
- Report: a structured report with clinical indices (vitality, lymphatic, reaction and chaos indices), per-point regulation states, and an AI-assisted summary in plain language.
What's new compared with CRT 2000
- Cloud-based analysis and reports. There's no local software to keep up to date, and results and reports are processed centrally.
- AI-assisted summaries that make reports easier to discuss with patients.
- Flexible hardware. A Bluetooth infrared probe works with either an all-in-one desktop workstation for the clinic or a laptop for mobile use.
- Home visits. The laptop setup lets practitioners scan patients who have limited mobility, elderly patients, or patients recovering from surgery, in their own homes.
- Privacy by design. Data is de-identified before analysis and protected with encryption and access controls.
- Non-invasive. No radiation, no compression and no contrast agents.
Who it's for
CRT LifeScan is designed for practitioners, including medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, practitioners of Chinese medicine, and functional and integrative medicine practitioners.

For practitioner use. Contact regulation thermography is an adjunctive assessment method. It is not a sole screening procedure and does not replace definitive diagnosis.
